Eric Ip’s journey in healthcare began in The University of Hong Kong where he received his undergraduate nursing training. Since then, he had completed the post-registration training and been practicing as a nurse specialist in Anaesthesia and Pain Nursing. He also pursued postgraduate qualifications in health management and engaged in the role as a clinical leader. In addition, he has been actively promoting health informatics and smart solutions in clinical settings. Currently he is one of the key persons in the development of the first smart hospital in the territory. His research interests include pre-hospital care, health informatics and health system.
