A copy-editor and writer with a professional nursing background. Lisa’s previous nursing experience include travel health, practice nursing, health visiting (community public health nursing), school health nursing, and neonatal intensive care nursing in the UK. She has held roles as team leader for school health nursing and health visiting. As team leader, she co-ordinated and implemented the UK’s school immunisation schedule for the 13 schools (10 primary and 3 secondary) that came under her remit, and as a health visitor, she advised parents on the UK’s Child Immunisation Schedule. As a practice nurse, she has advised and administered vaccinations (both routine immunisations and travel vaccinations) to children and adults in General Practices, Health Centres, and Pharmacy settings.
